Life Skills,Self Defense and Fun for Kids

Dear Parents,

You might not know it but there is a way for you to take advantage of thousands of years of wisdom and put it to use in developing your child in one, integrative approach. It's already been discovered by thousands of families throughout our community and beyond.

Martial arts for kids can be more than just learning about punching and kicking, yelling and "Yes Sir!"

When properly implemented and balanced with having fun, the martial arts is an educational program based on traditional values such as Focus, Respect, Self-Confidence, Self-Control, and Self-Discipline all while having a BLAST!!!

It was our focus on these qualities that led Mengs Martial Arts of Houston's children's curriculum to be recognized and implemented in Texas charter schools and in Ohio public schools.

You're Kids Will:

Learn to Focus.. their minds to improve their abilities to not get distracted at school and increase their grades even more this year.

Learn to Respect... their parents, teachers and friends and why they should.

Develop the Self-Confidence... to interact more in the school setting while also having the knowledge and confidence to say "no" to the 'wrong things' and "yes" to the 'right things'.

Develop Self-Discipline.... to act on their own and take responsibility for their actions.

Develop Awareness and Skill.... in all 4 ranges of self defense and learn Kid Escape Anti-Abduction skills to prevent a kidnapping.

Have Fun, Fun and More Fun!!....with many special reward systems build into the curriculum, kids fun night, board breaking goal setting workshops and many more.

In every class these characteristics are taught.
